    BIOMEX — Dalhousie University

    10-person cross-functional team; delivered to a Dalhousie faculty client.

    Led a 10-person cross-functional team rebuilding a legacy desktop bioinformatics workflow as a self-service web platform for a faculty stakeholder, delivering a working DESeq2 pipeline as proof of concept.

    • Translated faculty research requirements directly into sprint priorities.
    • Designed the React + Firebase + R Plumber application architecture.
    • Coordinated delivery across frontend, backend, and bioinformatics contributors, keeping milestones on schedule.

    Select and deliver civic data projects independently, from scoping the question to producing the output.

    • Compared Halifax and Moncton two-bedroom rents (2019–2025) from Statistics Canada, using CALCULATE with ALL in Power BI to build a 2019-baselined rent index.
